About the Tea Rooms

Pilgrims tea rooms is situated in the Brecon Cathedral close. The contemporary building retains the charm and style of the adjacent 15th century tithe barn. On sunny days visitors are able to enjoy sitting outside under the cloisters or in the herb garden.

Traditional home-cooking using locally sourced and many organic ingredients, all freshly prepared on the premises.

The tea rooms are fully licensed and are open 7 days a week 10am-5pm all year round. Closing 4pm in winter. Open evenings by prior arrangement. We are also open for snacks on Sundays and Mondays seasonally.

Christmas Meals

We have festive lunch and evening menus which you can download on the right. Groups of 10 or more need to complete a booking form.

We are also serving lunch Christmas day, the menu and booking form is on the right. Please complete and return your booking form to us by 11th December.

Janet has been catering for 40 years and she is committed to providing high quality, locally sourced foods, freshly prepared.

 

Facilities

 

There is wheelchair access to all main facilities, including the Cathedral itself, the Heritage Centre, the Tithe Barn gift shop and Pilgrims tearooms.

Catering for Groups

 

Depending on the size of your group and the date/time it is possible to book part or all of Pilgrims tea rooms for your function. Alternatively the Cathedral Heritage Centre or other facilities within Brecon Cathedral precincts may be available.
